A boy is drinking water at the Child Friendly Space of Fada N’gourma, in the east of Burkina Faso.
The child-friendly space (EAE) in sector 6 north of Fada was created in August 2023 and welcomes 1,633 children aged 3 to 17. It is led by the Yanyenma consortium made up of the Todima, Todi Yaba associations and the Association for the Development of Village Communities (ADCV) which provides leadership in partnership with UNICEF. In this EAE, a multisectoral integrated humanitarian assistance program is being implemented for the benefit of children and internally displaced people and the host population. Protection activities are associated with those of health-nutrition and education.
